Recruitment is a process when those who are interested in joining a sorority have a chance to learn about all the sorority's on campus. There is a series of parties that take place that allows you to meet women from each Greek organization on campus. Recruitment is a great way to meet new people and decide which organization you would like to call home. Recruitment is held Martin Luther King weekend every year. This a wonderful experience and exciting for both you and the sisters.

Recruitment weekend schedule:
Philanthropy Night: The first night is when you will meet the sisters of each organization on campus. Tonight you will learn about each sororities philanthropy.
Skit Night: On skit night each sorority puts on a skit which tells potential members more about their organization and sisterhood. Each sorority works hard to prepare a fun and upbeat skit for you and the skits have different themes for each sorority.
Preference Night: Preference night is the most serious night of all the nights during recruitment. This is a time for each organization to show you what their organization means to them and gives you a brief glimpse of the bond of the members.
Bid Day (Monday): This is the day when new Sigma Kappa members run down the hill in front of Lewis Hall to be united with their new sisters. Today is filled with celebration and excitement for the newest members of Sigma Kappa!
